Natural Gas Service Types and Rebates:
Preferred Service
- Requires the installation of a minimum natural gas primary heating system, water heater, and one additional appliance.
- Receive up to 500 feet of main line and up to 175 feet of service line at no charge.
- Receive $350 Rebate after all appliances have been installed and meter is set.
- HYBRID OR DUAL FUEL OR UNVENTED HEATERS DO NOT QUALIFY.
Standard Service
- Requires the installation of a minimum natural gas primary heating system OR water heater.
- Receive up to 500 feet of main line and up to 175 feet of service line at no charge.
- Receive $100 Rebate with installation of natural gas primary heat after meter is set.
- Receive $150 Rebate with installation of natural gas water heater after meter is set.
- HYBRID OR DUAL FUEL OR UNVENTED HEATERS DO NOT QUALIFY.
Casual Service
- Requires the payment of all footage at $6.00 per foot and $200 application fee.
- Requires the installation of at least one natural gas appliance other than natural gas primary heat or water heater.
- Rebates are not applicable.
Secondary Service
- Requires the payment of all footage at $6.00 per foot and $275 application fee.
- Requires the installation of at least one natural gas appliance.
- Receive $100 Rebate with installation of natural gas primary heat after meter is set.
- Receive $150 Rebate with installation of natural gas water heater after meter is set.
Specialty Service
- Engineering Technician designates meter location near the road, and the customer installs footage from the meter to their house at their own expense.
- Requires the minimum installation of natural gas primary heat or water heater, and $275 application fee.
- Rebate of $350 for natural gas primary heat, water heater, and one additional appliance are applicable.
- Rebate of $100 for natural gas primary heat, and $150 for natural gas water heater are applicable as well.
- HYBRID OR DUAL FUEL OR UNVENTED HEATERS DO NOT QUALIFY.
